Articles of Incorporation of The Little Miami and East Fork Rivers Citizens Historical Society were amended to change the name of the organization to the Owensville Historical Society.  It was stated that the intent was to combine The Owensville, Ohio & Vicinity Local Historical Society, Inc. and The Little Miami and East Fork Rivers Citizens Historical Society, which had the same trustees and officers.  The Owensville, O. & Vicinity Local Historical Society was to wind down and dissolve.
